Choose what a sideways swipe does: replay a line, skip ahead, or like a video (swipe gestures)
Lined up and coming soon.
Missed a sentence? Swipe right and the video jumps back to the start of that line and plays it again. Swipe left to skip to the next line, like flicking through a carousel. That's what a sideways swipe does out of the box, in Flow mode too, so you can hear something twice without switching to Focus mode. Rather use the swipe for something else? Pick what each direction does in your settings: like or dislike the video, or nothing at all. Swiping up and down still moves you through the feed, and the buttons stay where they are.
Learners asked for this from two sides. One suggested on Reddit that a swipe should like or dislike a video. Others wanted to replay a line they just missed without leaving the feed. Both are good uses of the same gesture, so you get to choose, and jumping between lines is where it starts.
